OT-SP41 outer sleeve
The outer sleeve of the OT-SP41 is pre-lubricated along its entire length with a special silicone lubricant to enable fast, precise shifting operations. The OT-SP41 reduces friction losses of the inner cable to an absolute minimum, so that the gearshift responds quickly and is easy to operate. The rider is relieved of shifting delays and high effort when shifting, especially in a terrain that requires frequent shifting or on long distances.
Polymer-coated
The secret is polymer coating that when viewed under a microscope looks like a series of tubes wrapped around the cable. This means less surface area rubbing the internal housing liner and it holds grease longer. Main benefits are significantly less shifting effort and the feeling of a quicker shift action also improved braking power with remarkably less brake lever effort.
