Nothing stays as it was.
In the off-road: If you drive with less air pressure, the performance gets better and better ... but at the same time the risk of breakthrough increases. The limit so far is around 1.5 bar, below which you can hardly dare to ride normal MTB tyres.
But nothing stays as it was: In the future, air pressure in tires can be controlled via double chambers. The air pressure in the outer chamber is extremely low - ideal for maximum off-road performance. In the inner chamber directly on the rim there is high air pressure - even maximum loads cannot penetrate to the rim edge. At the same time, the internal high-pressure system secures the tyre on the rim. "Burping", the dreaded loss of air at low pressure in conventional tubeless systems, is ruled out.
PROCORE - the outer chamber
The outer chamber is tubeless. Any MTB tyre that is tubeless can be used as a tyre. The tyre is filled with some sealing liquid (approx. 60 ml). It should be at least 57 mm (2.25") wide.
PROCORE - the inner chamber
Two special Procore components form the inner high pressure chamber - the special Procore tube and the Procore inner tire. This "core" is extremely high pressure stable and at the same time very light.
The rim must of course be tubeless and sealed with a tubeless rim tape. It should have a rim width of at least 23 mm. The wider the rim, the easier it is to assemble and the better the driving characteristics at low air pressure. The very wide Syntace rims work optimally.
The PROCORE valve
The patented dual valve of the Procore hose distributes the air into both chambers. The upper part of the valve is a selector: by turning it, you adjust whether air is pumped into the inner chamber or the outer chamber.
The PROCORE Air-Guide
The small red component made of soft plastic ensures that the air can flow past the inner high-pressure chamber into the outer low-pressure chamber.
SCHWALBE Doc Blue Professional puncture protection gel 60 ml
Ideal for tubeless conversion. Produced by Stan's NoTubes! Of course also suitable for repair or as preventive puncture protection for bicycle tubes, tubular tires and normal tubeless systems.
Application of SCHWALBE Doc Blue Professional puncture protection gel
60 ml/tyre (road bike 30 ml). Works approx. 2-7 months. Then dries to a rubber film. Can be renewed several times. Only for hoses with exchangeable valve core. Not suitable for coarse defects (cuts/splints).
Easy Fit 50 ml
Special mounting fluid for bicycle tyres. With the practical sponge can the liquid can be applied very simply - without aids and greasy fingers - on the tire bead. When inflating, the tyre bead slides easily into the correct position on the rim. After approx. 10 minutes the liquid evaporates completely!
