The Transiro Infinito R1 Knit is a high performance triathlon shoe with an innovative knitted upper for improved breathability and good drying properties. The premium shoe, which is also worn by fi'zi:k-sponsored professional triathletes* inside Ironman triathlons, combines a first-class fit with a completely new design that allows quick and easy foot entry in the transition zone and excellent comfort for riding without socks. In addition, the construction is extremely breathable and dries quickly because the knit construction seamlessly integrates ventilation into the entire upper material. The additional water-repellent treatment of the fabric ensures that the yarn does not absorb moisture. In combination with the improved ventilation provided by the nature of the fabric structure, the upper material dries quickly when you step into the shoes with dripping wet feet after swimming. In order to ensure a stabilizing effect of the fabric and efficient power transmission to the pedals, targeted areas of heat-fused PU have been integrated to provide foot support where athletes need it most. This construction ensures that the shoe has excellent ventilation and is ultra-light, yet with the same support and pedalling performance as a traditionally built cycling shoe. The individually adjustable fit via the double Boa twist closure is quick and intuitive to adjust and allows the triathlete*in for a 180 km ride to independently adjust the area of the instep and forefoot, as this area can vary greatly from athlete*in to athlete*in. By fine-tuning the shoe, you can adjust it to your unique foot shape and experience individual comfort and support. The double Boa®-Dial closures provide the necessary and often desired locked-in feeling by allowing the shoe to be worn very tightly, according to the shape of your foot and your individual needs during the competition. Fi'zi:k uses textile belt lacing instead of plastic lacing. This closure system acts on a larger area of the shoe upper leather by pulling the eyelet stays inwards evenly from all directions to ensure a more supportive and comfortable fit. A custom fit of the plantar arch is provided by the Dynamic Arch Support, a special piece of the shoe upper that wraps around the plantar arch and is adjusted with its own Boa twist lock. The high stiffness R1 outsole made of unidirectional full carbon is designed for maximum power transmission, with openings that direct airflow through the sole for efficient cooling. The Transiro Infinito R1 Knit features a padded flat-fold collar for easy sockless foot entry and a comfortable ride. It also features a rubberized heel strap to prepare the shoes on the bike for changing and to pull the feet into the shoes easily and quickly.
